Packaging not only protects products from damage, but also makes them transportable. Over and above the labelling function, packaging can be used as a bearer of advertising messages as well. In this case, uvex exploits the power of its brand. uvex safety and uvex sports packaging is designed individually by each sub-group, in compliance with the CD guidelines. Special requests have to get the approval from the shareholder.
However, in order to ensure consistency within the sub-group, all packaging will be designed centrally by the sub-group Marketing departments of safety or sports in future.
